Triumph Pakistan hosted 'stand up for fit' on October 9 and 10, 2015 in Karachi. The event was to #findtheone !

Find the one and embrace the mission to help women find the absolute optimum lingerie choice for them, the bra that will bring out their individual best and make them feel incredibly special everyday.

There were a lot of gifts and discounts for all those who attended. You could also go in for a personal consultation on fitness and diet with Fatima Zara Mallick who is an internationally certified health coach and personal trainer.

I personally love triumph hence I availed the discounts and bought a good deal for the months to come :D

My Gatsby!

There is no other way to put it...I LOVE books!
I am also into quirky accessories. Now combine the two and what better result would you get than a book clutch? Yes! A clutch that looks like a book in your hand.
I found Bastay online and fell in love! On searching through the page I found so many that I wanted to buy but as soon as I laid eyes on Great Gatsby I ordered it without thinking twice.

I adore the book, the movie but most of all I adore Gatsby for the epitome of hope that he is. I don't want to give any spoilers to those who haven't read or watched it, but if you haven't then you MUST!

Coming to the bag, I was given pictures from a regular camera so that I'd have an idea about the color. I was fine with whatever the color was so long as the cover said 'The great Gatsby'. I received my bag within three days. To say that I was overwhelmed with joy would be an understatement. The quality is amazing and it is quite spacious, you can keep a medium sized book in it. That said, I can keep my perfume, lip color, pen, small notebook and cellphone in it.
As soon as I got it I thought of where to wear it and I think it would have to wait till Karachi literature festival unless Bastay comes up with something better in the meantime and I'm tempted to buy that :p

Fashion & welfare...together

Mohsin Sayeed and Hadia Khan of the Pinktree Company recently launched their latest spring/summer collection 2015 on March 19, 2015 at East End in Karachi. The collection featured shirts with varying cloth that would be suitable for different occasions and time of the day.

The PinkTree Company partnered with Saima Haq of Sunflowers by Special Children's Educational Institute and had the shopping bags made by the children with special needs, who used several different blocks of shapes and textures to make the pink on the PinkTree cotton bags. I find this to be a very refreshing and humble idea that I absolutely want to shop from PinkTree this time around.

LADIESFUND Awards #LFA15

I joined LADIESFUND a few years back and it has been a wonderful a ride. LADIESFUND is a platform that recognizes women for their achievements and gives them opportunities to progress. This year LADIESFUND held its 7th Awards for Women of Pakistan, 2015 on 7th March, 2015. The Awards were held at Governor House, Karachi on a day with perfect weather to be seated in the garden and perfect light (for selfies!).

Governor House looked beautiful dressed in pink and white, from the kiosks to the pink carpet to the pink clad tables and white chairs, everything screamed "LADIESFUND".

Therapy for your hair -Pantene Ampoules

Having curly hair with volume can have many setbacks...top that with frizz and it is the complete recipe for disaster.

I am always in search if THAT perfect product that would make my hair look shiny and lively. Recently, I was introduced to Pantene PRO-V's Ampoules that are absolute game changers. They come boxed in a nice sturdy plastic box that holds the sleek tubes called ampoules. One tube is good enough for one use for long and voluminous hair. It is almost a mini protein treatment that makes hair gleam with luster. It costs PKR 525 and is to be used once in two weeks or once a week depending on how often you need it. I believe everyone should give it a try since it takes only 60 seconds for the magic to work its wonders.

LAUNCH- SAPPHIRE's first flagship store

A much delayed but much needed review...
Sapphire's first flagship store was launched on December 5, 2014 at Dolmen City Mall in Karachi with a huge number of attendees. The stage and the overall decor was intriguing.

Wella Academy in K-town!

A good hairstylist is a blessing from the heavens. Whether it is a simple trim, a bold hair cut, a good hairdo for the special night out or you suddenly get the craving to change your look by going for highlights, low lights or a single different color...you take a leap of faith, go to a stylist and keep your fingers crossed while your heart beats in silent prayer.

Wella Academy in Karachi

Yeap, been there, done that...though I have to say, I have still got to get the heart shattering palpitations when I go for hair dye. To salvage this prospect, on February 12, 2015 Wella Academy has been launched in Karachi by Abu Dawood Pakistan's (ADP) Wella Professional Division.

Wella Academy aims to form a closed-knit network of hairdressers where they have a platform to learn from one another, exchange ideas and share experiences. It will also give them an opportunity to learn from the best of the field during seminars and workshops so that they can be trained to use Wella Professionals range.

Wella Academy was inaugurated by German Consul General in Pakistan, Dr. Tilo Klinner. His speech was followed by a fashion presentation where models had been styled by Raana Khan and the attire was designed by Sadaf Malaterre.

While the academy oozed taste and style, the launch still lacked a touch of creativity that we could have used, what with the models adorned in gold with none too exciting hair colors. We have seen better and groovier hair colors and hair styles by other brands at several events. Having said that, the Academy is a much-needed step in direction of training the hair stylists.

How to use Trident

Lately I have developed an obsession of having Trident countless times a day. Since I hauled just yesterday I thought of writing about the times that I use Trident;

1. As a midnight snack- Case in point
2. To chew on while I drive alone listening to the same songs over and over again (No, my playlist isn't that short, I just drive too much every day)
