Therapy for your hair -Pantene Ampoules

Having curly hair with volume can have many setbacks...top that with frizz and it is the complete recipe for disaster.

I am always in search if THAT perfect product that would make my hair look shiny and lively. Recently, I was introduced to Pantene PRO-V's Ampoules that are absolute game changers. They come boxed in a nice sturdy plastic box that holds the sleek tubes called ampoules. One tube is good enough for one use for long and voluminous hair. It is almost a mini protein treatment that makes hair gleam with luster. It costs PKR 525 and is to be used once in two weeks or once a week depending on how often you need it. I believe everyone should give it a try since it takes only 60 seconds for the magic to work its wonders.

LAUNCH- SAPPHIRE's first flagship store

A much delayed but much needed review...
Sapphire's first flagship store was launched on December 5, 2014 at Dolmen City Mall in Karachi with a huge number of attendees. The stage and the overall decor was intriguing.

Wella Academy in K-town!

A good hairstylist is a blessing from the heavens. Whether it is a simple trim, a bold hair cut, a good hairdo for the special night out or you suddenly get the craving to change your look by going for highlights, low lights or a single different color...you take a leap of faith, go to a stylist and keep your fingers crossed while your heart beats in silent prayer.

Wella Academy in Karachi

Yeap, been there, done that...though I have to say, I have still got to get the heart shattering palpitations when I go for hair dye. To salvage this prospect, on February 12, 2015 Wella Academy has been launched in Karachi by Abu Dawood Pakistan's (ADP) Wella Professional Division.

Wella Academy aims to form a closed-knit network of hairdressers where they have a platform to learn from one another, exchange ideas and share experiences. It will also give them an opportunity to learn from the best of the field during seminars and workshops so that they can be trained to use Wella Professionals range.

Wella Academy was inaugurated by German Consul General in Pakistan, Dr. Tilo Klinner. His speech was followed by a fashion presentation where models had been styled by Raana Khan and the attire was designed by Sadaf Malaterre.

While the academy oozed taste and style, the launch still lacked a touch of creativity that we could have used, what with the models adorned in gold with none too exciting hair colors. We have seen better and groovier hair colors and hair styles by other brands at several events. Having said that, the Academy is a much-needed step in direction of training the hair stylists.
